CJSC «Donetsksteel»-metallurgical plant» was founded in 2002, combining two production shops: blast furnace shop and open hearth furnaces shop.
Today it is modern metallurgical plant which produces:
- foundry and pig-iron
- more than 100 grades of carbon, structural, low-alloy, quality and high-quality steel
- church bells from high-quality non-ferrous alloy
- building materials, iron-bearing wastes, slag and lime
CJSC «Donetsksteel»-metallurgical plant» is acknowledged by English Lloyd Register as a producer of steel and steel semi-products (slabs, open hearth furnace ingots from carbon and carbon-manganese grades of steel of normal and extra strength) according to Register Rules.
Slabs from ship structural steel GL-A and GL-B are certified by German Lloyd Rules, and steel grade NVA(killed) open hearth furnace done is certified by Norway Veritas.
CJSC «Donetsksteel»-metallurgical plant» became the first Ukrainian branch company, which introduced and certified an integrated system of quality , ecology and protection of labor management according to international standards ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 и OHSAS 18001:1999.
OJSC «Donetsk metallurgical plant» is one of the oldest works in southern Ukraine.
The plant has always been known as a reliable producer of high-quality sheet, section and shaped rolls (including: bulbar, special sections for agricultural machinery, section for separate railway fastening). The production of sheet rolls from the ship grade of steel is approved by such independent certification centers as English Lloyd Register, German Lloyd, Russian Sea Navigation register, French Veritas Bureau, Norway Verytas and American Navigation Bureau.
Now our specialists are working on receiving approval certificate of the ship steel producer from the new classification society — RINA (Registro Italiano Navale).
Quality management system of OJSC «Donetsk metallurgical plant» is certified according to EN ISO 9001:2000 TÜV NORD standards.
OJSC «Donetsk metallurgical plant» products consumers are- 15 regions of Ukraine, Ayzerbadzan,Estonia,Lithuania , and also 43 countries of the world (South-East Asia, Near East, Western and Eastern Europe,Africa, North and South America).
